Maria Anguera

Cofounder & Director of Students Learning

Maria Anguera, originally from Reus (Gaudí’s hometown), settled in Barcelona at a young age and spent formative years in Germany and England. With a degree in Hispanic Language and Literature, she began her teaching career in Germany. Later, she returned to Barcelona, where she took on roles as an educator and leader in international schools.

Maria joined the IB educational system early, becoming deeply familiar with its unique character and methods. After over 10 years teaching Spanish in the Diploma Programme, she founded an educational hub in 2021 to provide students, families, and schools with greater flexibility to create customized learning programs.

Her commitment to educational innovation is further reflected in her credentials, with a degree in School Leadership for Educational Innovation from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2020) and the Curriculum Leadership module from the Principal Training Center (2022). These achievements highlight her dedication to empowering students and educators.
